Frameit is a developer pipeline: put screenshots in frames from the command line. AppGrowthKit is a visual, AI-assisted listing workspace for people who still want to see and edit the set.

Frameit is a Fastlane action that overlays device frames and optional titles onto screenshot files. It is free, scriptable, and aimed at CI. It is not a design editor and it does not generate listing copy.

Frameit is perfect once the design is decided. AppGrowthKit is for deciding: sequence, type, and whether the first frame sells.
AI drafts captions you can still rewrite. Frameit prints whatever string you already wrote.
Open a browser, upload screens, export. Useful when Fastlane is not already in the repo.
Generate and edit store screenshots visually, then keep Fastlane for the binary.
Get startedUse both for different jobs. AppGrowthKit designs the set. Frameit can re-frame approved assets in CI. AppGrowthKit does not replace Fastlane delivery.
frameit is an action inside fastlane, the open-source iOS and Android automation toolkit. Given a folder of screenshots, it overlays device frames and, with a Framefile configuration, adds a title and optional keyword text above or below each frame. It is usually paired with snapshot, which drives the app through UI tests to capture screens on every device and language automatically. Everything runs from the command line, which makes it ideal inside a CI job.
It is free, scriptable, and repeatable. It is also exactly as good as the strings and settings in your configuration file, because there is no canvas and no preview beyond opening the output folder.
frameit has no notion of a draft. Headlines are text you wrote in a config, fonts and colours are values you set, and the only way to judge whether the first screenshot sells the app is to run the lane, open the PNG, change a value, and run it again. That loop is fine for applying an approved design to forty localized captures. It is slow for deciding what the design should be.
AppGrowthKit is the deciding step. Upload captures, get an AI draft of sequence and headlines, move things on a multi-screen canvas, and see every device and locale as you edit. The output is the same kind of file frameit produces, but you arrive at it by looking rather than by rerunning.
Both put device frames around screenshots and export store-sized PNGs. Only AppGrowthKit drafts copy, offers a layer editor, and localizes captions across 42 App Store locales on the layers you can see. Only frameit runs unattended in CI and re-frames hundreds of captures without a human in the loop. Neither replaces fastlane deliver or supply for uploading binaries and metadata.
Let snapshot capture the real screens for every device and language. Design and localize the set in AppGrowthKit, then upload the exports in App Store Connect and the Play Console. If the brand frame is locked and you re-shoot captures every release, keep frameit for the repeatable framing and reserve AppGrowthKit for redesigns, new feature screens, and launches where the headlines change. frameit is free; AppGrowthKit is a $9.99 one-time Launch Pass or Pro at $14.99 a month.
